ROTARY CLUB FUNDRAISES FOR "FAMILIES LEFT BEHIND" PROGRAM

Thousands
of men and women are currently fighting for our country’s protection in Afghanistan.
Back home, the families of these faithful Marines are left in need of
groceries, clothing, incidentals and other extraordinary expenses for the
holidays.
The
Rotary Club of Coto de Caza/RSM del Sol has joined hands with the Camp
Pendleton Armed Services YMCA for a fourth
year to bring some much-needed relief and support for these families
during the holiday season. Helping the Armed Services YMCA childcare,
after-school tutoring and mentoring on the Camp Pendleton
base is crucial to these children who are suffering issues due to their
parents’ absence.
This
year we will be providing 250 fully cooked hams and commissary and grocery gift
certificates for these families. 100%
of your contribution will help these families enjoy a holiday that many of us
often take for granted. The Boy Scouts
of America Troop 636 and the local high school Interact Clubs are helping us
collect donations outside local grocery and club stores.
