July 4, 2013 - Rotary Club Of Coto de Caza / Rancho Santa Margarita to Host Annual Coto De Caza 4th Of July Parade & Country Fair

The Rotary Club of Coto de Caza/Rancho Santa Margarita will bring families together this 4th of July and uphold the tradition of annual festivities with Coto de Caza’s 32nd Annual 4th of July Parade and Country Fair. Friends, family and the community can celebrate Independence Day with great food and activities from water slides, carnival games and bounce houses to a beer garden for adults. Starting at 10 a.m., the celebration kicks off with a parade starting  at the corner of Plano Trabuco and Coto de Caza Drive and ending at the Country Fair housed at the Sports Park in Coto de Caza.

“Our passion lies in bringing our families and community together, and we appreciate the support they provide to make our 32nd Independence Day celebration a possibility,” said Jeffrey Sawyer, president of the Rotary Club of Coto De Caza/ Rancho Santa Margarita. “Rotary annually looks forward to hosting one of Orange County’s most impressive 4th of July celebrations and supporting our local charities and international causes through each year’s proceeds.”

The Rotary welcomes the participation of anyone at any age, and registration is underway for those wishing to showcase classic cars, golf carts, self-made floats, sports teams and performance groups. While the parade and fair admission are free to the public, the Rotary club will spearhead specialty sponsorship opportunities including the Country Fair vendor booths and parade entries. For more than 30 years, the community has come together to celebrate the nation’s freedoms, and the Rotary Club of Coto de Caza/Rancho Santa Margarita del Sol supports local and needy charities with the event’s proceeds. Including but not limited to supporting high school scholarships, leadership training at RYLA, and local Boy Scout Troop 636, event proceeds will also benefit international causes such as polio eradication and clean water in southern Asia.
